The Camps Primera-A flamenco guitar is a high quality concert guitar, light, with good attack and a quick response to the touch. It is made under the traditional manufacturing parameters by the Camps brothers in their workshop in Girona (Spain).
The main difference with its sister Camps Primera lies in the quality of the wood of the top and the work invested in it, which in this case is superior.
The Primera-A flamenco guitar model has higher level elements, such as the bridge bones and nut, typical of concert guitars, and more selected woods. Incredibly comfortable, with a low but precise action and great attention to all the finishing details. The Camps Primera-A guitar features a solid Spruce top, solid Cypress body, Ebony fingerboard, glossy polyurethane polish varnish. It has a pickguard. The neck provides a very agile performance and incorporates innovations, including carbon fiber reinforcement of the neck, which makes possible a very thin neck that is a delight for speed and comfort.
In sound it has a punchy response but at the same time enjoys good sustain.
