Handmade Flemish capo made of snakewood and red mother-of-pearl.
The capo is an accessory that serves to replace the capo made on the frets with the index finger, thus allowing the performer to use his/her finger freely on the guitar. The capo is used to change the key and tone of the strings played in the air on a guitar without having to tune it differently.
Our handcrafted wooden flamenco barrettes are built one by one in our Granada guitar workshop. The traditional construction technique guarantees the high quality of our flamenco barrettes. Therefore, our capos maintain an even and perfect pressure suitable for the strings.
Decorated with a unique design perfect for the guitar or other instrument. The plug fits very precisely into the hole in the nut. Genuine, soft cowhide provides special care to avoid scratches and unwanted marks from the string on the neck. The string can be replaced very easily, as it is designed to be simple and easy to replace.
The beautifully shiny and silky finish of the wooden capo is achieved by gently polishing with natural beeswax.
