Studio microphone with “retro” design. Characteristic “warm” voice presentation, ideal for singing. Legendary M 49 and U 47 capsules with cardioid characteristic. The package includes a flexible hanger.
The TLM 49 is a new retro-style large-diaphragm microphone. It has a cardioid pickup characteristic and a “warm” sound presentation, especially suited for vocal pickup.
The external design of the microphone is inspired by the legendary M 49 and M 50 types of the 1950s, with the typical “matt nickel” color. The pickup system uses the quality of the famous K 47 microphone capsule, which is also used in the M 49 and U 47 types. The sound color is therefore also similar to that of these microphones.
The combination of retro design with proven Neumann technology ensures that the microphone has a low self-noise and high gain. The TLM 49 was developed as a vocal microphone, but is also suitable for picking up instruments in professional studios.
It is available in matte nickel.
